Bill Nighy reveals the adorable reason his Oscar date was a toy bunny

This is love, really.

Bill Nighy drew attention on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night not because of his outfit (although he did look spectacular), but because of his companion: a small toy rabbit with bizarre spots.

On Monday, Find revealed that he was looking after his granddaughter and took the role very seriously.

“My granddaughter’s schedule has increased and I’ve been given the responsibility of babysitting the rabbits.” he said in the subway. “I wasn’t ready to leave her unattended in a hotel room. The stakes are too high. Where I go, there she goes.”

Nighy was nominated for Best Actor for his role in Life. The Oscar went to Brendan Fraser for The Whale, but if there was an Oscar for the tiniest date, it’s clear who would win.

Tekashi 6ix9ine savagely beaten in gym sauna ambush and taken to hospital

21:03 PT — A video has surfaced showing part of the attack, you see one man hitting Tekashi continuously while the rapper struggles to protect his face.

UPDATE

Tekashi 6ix9ine was brutally beaten by a group of men at a South Florida gym… with such severe injuries that the controversial rapper was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

lawyer 6ix9ine, Lance Lazzaroreports TMZ… the rapper was in a sauna Tuesday at LA Fitness when he was suddenly attacked without warning by several guys.

Lazzaro says that 6ix9ine tried to fight off the combatants, but there were too many of them and he beat him to a pulp before escaping. Lance notes that 6ix9ine didn’t have his guards with him at the time of the attack.

The gym staff heard the noise and immediately notified the manager. The police and an ambulance were then called to the scene and he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

We got a picture of Tekashi taken in the hospital, where you can see the damage to his face – with cuts and swelling. We were told that he also suffered injuries to his jaw, ribs and back.

The next step, Lazzaro says, is that he plans to call the feds to make sure 6ix9ine gets the protection he clearly needs. remember he was granted parole from federal prison after cooperating with the authorities to jail several members of his gang.

It is currently unclear if the attack at the gym was due to Tekashi’s collaboration.

Def Leppard drummer recovers from hotel attack

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen says he’s recovering from an attack near a Florida hotel.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. — Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen says he’s recovering from an attack earlier this month outside a Florida hotel.

Allen, who was in South Florida to perform a show at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, was attacked while smoking outside the Four Seasons Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man but said they had no motive for the attack. They didn’t identify the suspect or Allen in the police report.

But in a social media post, Allen, 59, said he was grateful for all the support he received from those fans. He said he was also glad his wife Lauren was not with him when the incident happened and that they are now “working to recover to a safe location.”

Police said the assailant hid behind a pillar outside the hotel while Allen smoked a cigarette. The man lunged at Allen, knocking him to the ground.

According to the police report, the woman saw Allen fall and ran to his aid, after which the man attacked her.

The man then ran to another hotel and began smashing car windows until he was stopped by witnesses and the police arrived. He was arrested and charged with two counts of battery, four counts of mischief and mistreatment of an elderly or disabled person.

Allen lost his left arm in an accident in 1984.

In a photo posted to Instagram, Allen was wearing a blue Fort Lauderdale Police T-shirt.

The Daily Show reports that Chelsea Handler, Leslie Jones and John Leguizamo will be guest hosts

The end of an era is nearing on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, and the network has announced at least the first phase of plans for what’s to come.

Following the imminent departure of longtime host Trevor Noah this week, the network reported that comedy legends including Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, D.L. host of the late night show starting on Tuesday, January 17 as part of his “next chapter”.

Comedy Central added that ‘Daily Show’ correspondents and contestants are also “ready to attend, with additional details to be announced later.”

“Moving on to Trevor’s final week, we want to thank him for his many contributions,” Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Paramount Media Networks, said in a statement from the network.

Trevor has reimagined the show like Jon Stewart before him, and looking to the future, we’re thrilled to be reimagining it once again with the help of this incredible roster of talent and correspondents, as well as the incredibly talented Daily Show team. ”

Noah’s last show will air this Thursday. The network has not yet announced whether the guest hosts will rotate indefinitely or if a permanent single host will be named soon.

The Daily Show airs weekdays at 11:00 pm ET/PT on Comedy Central and is available the next morning on Paramount+.
